went to the hospital...we need a vacation!

Two years ago, my husband and I got married after re-uniting at our 20 year High School Reunion!  We had a wonderful wedding.   That year, I turned 40 and on my 40th birthday, my husband ended up in the hospital with chronic bronchitis.  It was a scary week of not knowing what the problem was.  Once he returned home, a month later, we had a flood from a bad storm in the area.  The following summer, we had another flood which wiped out our whole kitchen. Luckily, insurance paid for some of the repair.  Shortly after this series of events, my husband's company got sold and he was laid off. 

At this time, we are both sorely in need of a vacation but because of the expenses we have incurred fixing the house and paying medical bills, we don't see how we will be able to afford such a trip.

Short and sweet, we need a vacation!
