Military Family.... Needs a Vacation!

Military family…NEEDS A VACATION.

With my husband being in the U.S. Army, is it often difficult for us to go on a vacation or have quality family time together because of military deployments and/or his military commitments.

DEPLOYMENT

My husband is being deployed (AGAIN) at the end of next year (2010).  Thankfully, it is state-side this time, but it will AGAIN be another year away from his family.  If we could win this S.O.S. Vacation Give-Away, it would give us the chance to have a relaxing, carefree family vacation before his deployment.  When our 3rd child was born, my husband was on a deployment overseas and was unable to share in the joys of our child being born AND missed the first 11 months of seeing his son's infant achievements.  It is hard on us as a family because sometimes when he is fulfilling his military commitments, communication is limited and we never know if he is safe or if something has happened.  Winning this trip would give us major family time together!

GRADUATION

My daughter will be graduating from high school in 2010 and this would be a great “graduation gift” for her, also.  Imagine her joy if we were to win this contest. She loves the beach and ‘getting away from it all.’

SPORTS

My oldest son plays sports through the summer, and with the commitment that he has to his team, it also makes it difficult for us to travel.  He is dedicated to anything that he does.  Winning this trip would help for him to relax and set aside some time for family.

FAMILY TIME

Nothing is more important than family time and this would be the perfect guarantee for that time.  Our family would be most thankful if we were chosen for this give-away.
