The Final Outcome

As we said from the get-go, one of the primary purposes for the HomeAway road trip was to collect snow globes to help build the world's largest collection, while donating to a good cause in the process. Well, in just 10 days, Jeff and Chip collected 118 globes with $50 for each being donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Simultaneously, the rest of the global HomeAway team was working towards the same goal, but each HomeAway office was able to choose the charity they wanted to support.

At the end of the day, the company will be donating a total of $25,000 to five deserving charities.  $15,030 will go to Habitat for Humanity, while the remaining $10,000 will be split among these four organizations:

•    SOS Villages D’Enfants

•    Aktion Deutschland Hilft

•    Healing Waters International

•    Shelterbox
