April 19th, Use to be a wonderful date for us, we first met on april 19th, i graduated from college on april 19th, we moved in together on april 19th, Then we decided to marry on april 19th!!!

It was a beautiful day on April 19th, the day of our wedding, although the day started out warm and sunny, and then turned stormy and windy. My father walked me down the Isle, we had a small quaint wedding, the funny part was that my father and husband were the ones that cried. I thought for sure my mother and I would be the ones to cry. 

Then one april 19th, our anniversary. we went out to dinner, then went to the casino and played some cards, games, then at the casino they had a dance hall, with a live DJ. So, we went there and ended up dancing until 3 in the morning!!! such a wonderful time. We got home very late, went to bed, i was awakend somewhat, by the ringing of my phone..... I said, im not getting up to get it, which is unusual for me, because i usually jump up and grab the phone incase there is something wrong with my family or something.....

Then i sat up screamed, the phone rang, i had such a terrible feeling inside..... it was my sister very histericle "dad is on the floor, and the paramedics are working on him.

I bursted into tears, and all i could say on the way to his house was, God why did you have to take him from me now!!!!!!!! why did you have to take him so abruptly!

i talked to my father every single day, sometimes several times a day, my husband and I spent every weekend with my father. Now our anniversary is bitter sweet, i am just tooo sad to celebrate it any more.  My husband and I would like to change our anniversary date by getting married in another month. If we could win this vacation that is what i would do, go to an ocean setting place and get re married so that i dont cry on my anniversary all day any more. !!!!!

Please help us to make this happen, i dont think i can bare to get thru another year with my anniversary on the same day my father dropped dead without even any notice. I never got to say good bye, i just know he knew i loved him very very much, and i miss him everyday, and not just on our anniversary date!!!!!!!!!!
