Tiime of Refreshing

Normally my family would all go to a beach somewhere for a time of rest and relaxation, not to mention reconnecting with one another.  This year due to the economy and other things which I will later tell you about, we were unable to afford a vacation for the family.  This summer was my Mother's 70th birthday and she really wanted a party so my husband and I, along with my brother and his wife chose to give her one to remember which was costly but we gave her a 50's style party which really dug into my budget.  Also, our 17 year old son is leaving soon for a missions trip to Guatemala and we had to pay out what he was unable to earn on his own.  Those things along with the fact that we have had numerous out of town visitors want to visit us (and we never say no as we feel blessed that family and friends wish to visit us) have kept us unable to plan or afford a family vacation.  My husband's job has become very stressful and what free time he has he spends helping others in our church and community.  I feel that he is on the verge of a breakdown and really needs a time to get away from the madness and just relax.  He would be happy just going to the mountains and relaxing or to a beach somewhere.  He is not hard to please but I really want this for him and for our entire family.
