This summer, HomeAway was a national sponsor for the EURO2016 football championship hosted in France. We lived the championship very intensely within the company, especially in Europe, and the experience for all the employees was amazing. Here are the top 3 things we most enjoyed:
1. HomeAway organized more than 20 internal employee events (contests, parties, match watches) around the world, which helped everyone feel very involved and engaged while sharing memorable moments together!
2. Worldwide employees were eligible to win tickets to Euro Cup matches through local drawings, raffles, and contests, and more than 300 employees were awarded tickets as a result of individual performance and/or participation in the success of the sponsorship.
3. The cherry on top was the apartment that HomeAway built in the Eiffel Tower. HomeAway employees had free access to the apartment for the month, and were able to invite friends and family, to enjoy the apartment together, where the big screen was always on during the matches!
