A team from HomeAway participated in the 15th Annual Austin Buddy Walk on October 19 and raised more than $2,700 for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT). The money goes toward education, cognition research, social programs and parent outreach for children with Down Syndrome.
“DSACT has helped our family see into the future of what is possible for our son,” says Rebecca McCormick, Global Corporate Training Program Manager. “We’ve been able to connect with other families who provide a support network and endless resources so we can make the best decisions. It’s wonderful to know there are always others to help you navigate the unknown and share their perspective.”
