HomeAway Summit 2012

This year was HomeAway's third annual Summit, an educational conference for vacation rental owners and professional managers, held at the Austin Convention Center on April 20-22, 2012. The conference was three days of informational sessions and instructional workshops on HomeAway products, and panel discussions with industry experts. We love to see all of the vacation rental owners who can travel to Austin for this fun and educational event each year! Our employees get to talk to our customers and our customers get face-to-face interaction with everyone behind the scenes at HomeAway! Summit topics ranged from the light-hearted, such as “Outfitting Your Vacation Rental,” to in-depth classes on vacation rental insurance, taxes and real estate financing, all with the goal of attendees maximizing their home’s potential return on investment. The conference also offered a four hour hands-on workshop on the ever-popular topic of social media, the most prevalent issue on travel industry research firm PhoCusWright’s recently released “Hot Topics 2012.”
