We’ve just completed our fourth and final round of our Best Space Showcase 2016 competition! This time around we asked our owners and travelers to vote on their favorite cabin, fireplace and living room. The competition was fierce, but the votes are in: Cabins should always be covered in snow, fireplaces are best when handcrafted, and living rooms with a view make all the difference!
Appropriately titled the “Big Bear,” this home has the space of a mansion but the warmth and coziness of any charming cabin. Located in Harrison, Maine, it’s the perfect spot to have fun in the snow, check out the Sebago Lakes region, or enjoy the long list of amenities provided! Plenty of travelers seem to agree. One said, “Our entire experience was fantastic! From the beginning, Anthony was amazing to work with! The entire area is fantastic and quiet for just a peaceful and tranquil vacation,” while another simply said, “Magical.”
The Moonshine Hill Inn looks and feels like it should be in a story book with its whimsical style. Lucky for us, it’s just right down the road in Franklin, Tennessee! As the numerous 5-star ratings explain, this cottage has everything travelers need and has unique charms that make for a marvelous trip. “You will be hard pressed to find another luxury country cabin so close to all of these wonderful amenities,” says owners Richard and Gloria.
This luxury chalet presents the opportunity to practically ski right out the front door and onto the slopes! Sitting mountainside with large picture windows, there’s plenty of beauty and inspiration to take in. Grand yet cozy, this Whistler, British Columbia, home sleeps 15 and even has a wine cellar. As one traveler says, “From the minute you step foot into this house it is absolutely amazing! The views are remarkable and also makes this place very surreal.”
