1. What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
I enjoy teaching my 10- and 5-year-old kids to perform BMX stunts with their bicycles. Perhaps I’m too old for some of the tricks and may look silly, but it definitely adds spice to their weekend! Dangerous? I know. Fortunately, they’re very skilled and clever!

I also like to grab my guitar and improvise - that gives me a huge peace of mind.

2. What scares you the most?
Natural disasters.  I’m still shocked by the earthquake in Haiti, the Tsunami in Southeast Asia and the recent Typhoon in the Philippines. It gives me the goose bumps just to think that every day we all have the real risk to live something like that.

3. If you could meet anyone from history, who would you meet and why?
I wish I lived in this same city in the early XIX century. That way I could have met Simon Bolivar and the heroes who sparked the revolution that resulted in the independence of Colombia and four other South American countries.

4. Who was your hero when you were a child?
My heroes were all rockstars, that’s why I became a musician. My all-times favorites are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Pat Metheny as well as all of the 90’s grunge wave. I’ve been playing music for the last 20 years - I studied to be a musician and played with several bands in the Bogotá blues-jazz scene.

5. If they made a movie about your life, whom would you want to play you?
One of my all-times favorites (when he’s good): Nicholas Cage.
